Hot Dog Media wins Worthing Birdman 2008 contract

Hot Dog Media based in Findon, just north of Worthing, has won the contract to film the world famous Worthing Birdman event next month.

Along with the provision of a big screen to entertain the 10,000-strong crowd expected to attend, Hot Dog Media will also be producing footage to be shown around the world by the international media.

Managing Director Jason Nicholls said, "The fact that Worthing can host such an event and deliver all the necessary services is great news for the town.

"We have been working closely with town centre manager Sharon Clarke to ensure we have everything in place to make this event the biggest thing to happen in Worthing for many years."

Hot Dog Media will be working in conjunction with another local production company Factual Productions, run by local TV cameraman Noel Greaves-Lord.

"There are a number of technical issues with delivering a top quality event such as the Birdman event, mostly due to the distances involved," said Noel. "We are now hoping the weather will provide safe flying and excellent enjoyment for everyone on the day."

The Worthing Birdman event takes place on July 5 and 6, 2008. For more information visit www.worthingbirdman.co.uk.
